    Flash Flood In Orchard Road!

According to NEA website, it's not high tide. In fact, at around 8 am, it was the lowest tide level at 0.0 meters! Hmm, so how can such a flash flood happen? http://app2.nea.gov.sg/tidetime.aspx

JETSTAR services is the WORST in a long time!

I haven't read about your underground economic theory but I find it very intriguing. You mean a premium airline would purposely set up a budget subsidiary and then tell him to screw up his own budget business so that people will fly its own premium airline?

    Blue Thunder @ CBD, Singapore

Hello there, happened to chance upon your thread and saw your beautiful pictures. I think we got the same lightning on 18 April 2010. Looks strikingly similar. Was it at around 7:47pm?

Selling photos on stock photo sites

Actually there's a charge. For instance, if the current exchange rate of USD:SGD is 1:1.5 , they will calculate as 1:1.4625. Meaning instead of getting $1.50, you get $1.4625. It's 2.5%.

    Unknow Creature...

Looks like some kind of dragonfly nymph. Being predacious, it's likely to pose a danger to your baby mollies. Maybe you can throw it into a drain so it helps to eat mosquito larvae instead.

Butterfly Pic (For your comments pls)

True but that's just about it. In photographing butterflies, there are many opportunities to explore besides a dew-covered stationary butterfly. Wouldn't it be better if one can capture like what u did, a butterfly sipping from a flower? Or a butterfly in flight? Beautiful open-winged shots and...

Butterfly Pic (For your comments pls)

Shooting butterfly is very challenging unlike most insects whereby you can use different types of flash techniques. Usually, we just use mounted flash on semi-auto modes. But if you are really lucky, for eg. a mating pair that does not get easily distracted, then you can try various techniques.

Butterfly Pic (For your comments pls)

Your question is very strange  I will try to answer. Irregardless of the focal length, and shooting at semi-auto exposure modes (like AV/TV priority), lighting should be the same right? Unless u are saying that by using a shorter lens, one has to go closer and hence might block out...

Butterfly Pic (For your comments pls)

60mm is very short, even 105mm is short. The longer the better, nikon 200 micro? If u hv a 70-300mm lens, u can actually try using a +2 CU filter which u hv to focuss between 50-60cm away from the subject. As for aperture used, for a small butterfly like this and going close to 1:1, I would...
