The final rehearsal is shorter than previous years. According to my source they took the allocation for the final rehearsal to distribute so that almost all rehearsals they can fire something to check the synchro.

i never used M mode until i began shooting indoor concerts... am using a 40D myself and found that the meter couldn't quite make sense of all the blinking and flashing lights...
