I am using 24 f2.8 D with my D7000 since day 1 for about 18mths since.. It's about 35mm.. If u can live with the focal length.. It's a not bad compact lens for the D7000 body..

I got my s100 from manly dept store pte ltd today at $616.. Canon give 50 taka voucher, must collect from canon near harbor front. So s100 is 566 with a premium leather case and 8gb class 10 card..

i bring compact every where inside my wife bag... and a dslr is inside my car boot baking most of the time... dslr is needed when i prefer thru the lens view and close to zero shuttler lag... and faster af...

when in live view.. how to change focus mode? as in area af or face detect af...

without vari-angle lcd i think is ok... odd angle i use live view is still ok... never really had very strange angle that live view cant do stilll...

i would prefer a 24 over a 28 any day... anyway, their af-d prime are all due for replacement...
