    Sony a99 Mark II

Bringing this post up again. Are there ANY A99ii users here? After the initial (and quite minor) hype about the release, it seems to have faded into obscurity again. Almost smells like vapourware. I really suspect this could be the swansong of the A-mount. Which is disappointing for me, having...

Cost of A850 repair = EXPENSIVE!

Yeah. It still works. I just have to listen to the shutter sound to gauge if the camera has exposed correctly. (Cheyy, macam kung-fu master like that). Now my only concern is, will it work less well after I get it back from the service centre??

Cost of A850 repair = EXPENSIVE!

Hi people. It's been a LONG time since I've posted. Have had an Alpha 850 for quite some time already, approx 2 years. Recently, I got caught out in heavy downpour while out on assignment. Already tried to protect it with plastic bags and rain cape. But there was just too much moisture and I...

Alpha mount lens for wedding shooting

I concur with this. Since TS is not main PG, there is no pressure to get all the shots in. And I am assuming this is his first time shooting wedding? Then go for as simple as possible, and just use ONE lens. 30/1.8 is just about perfect. Flash would be optional.

    A580 + DT35mm F1.8 = My Xmas Gift ^^

Kinda weird, but a few nights back I had a dream that I was to buy the A580. I don't know why, 'cos I don't have any intention of getting a new camera. ;p And I wasn't aware that it's not available in Sg. Congratulations on getting the camera!
