lc1 auto closing lens cap mod

He's very interested in the camera whenever I take photos of him. He will try and reach out for the lens. Now with the LC-1, he will also try and grab the flap. :bsmilie:

lc1 auto closing lens cap mod

Oic... I was wondering why you didn't add the plastic on the top flap. Nice job. But there's a flaw... the flap seems to attract my son's attention and now he always wants to grab it whenever I take a photo of him!! :bsmilie:

lc1 auto closing lens cap mod

Had the pleasure of meeting LightNPixels when collecting my LC-1 from him. I would say it really fits nicely and the workmanship of the mod is good. No problems whatsoever. However, I would suggest that the plastic piece for the mod be glued for all 3 flaps. It makes it looks more even when...

uv sticker or 52 mm filter better for LX3

Yup that's what I'm using. You managed to get a lens cap for your 46mm filter?:dunno: What brand of filter you using?:dunno: My setup is with the Lumix 46mm adapter and a b+w 46mm filter. The filter is exposed but the leica lens is protected by the filter.

    len adaptor 46mm and 52mm for LX3

I'm using the original lens adaptor for LX3. I have a 46mm Skylight B+W Filter. Frankly to me, it might be alittle tougher to get filters of this size as compared to 52mm but then again, I do not see the need to get so many filter for my own usage.;) So I personally recommend the original...

Hmmm... I reckon that filter is gonna cost me a bomb... lol... especially since its multi coated... Any idea how much is it going for? Might just stick to the Skylight filter if the price is alot of different.

    DMW-LMC46 Mc Protector Filter

Hi Guys, Anybody knows where can I get the Lumix MC filter for LX3? I tried a few shops like CP and AP but all no stock. My B+W skylight filter that I have is giving me slight 'warm' color when I take indoor pictures. I would prefer a clear filter just to prevent dust and protect the lens...

    Where to buy LX3

I'm not saying that you are one as you said you didn't check properly but there are some customers who will do anything to get a freebie... Sometimes I pity the salesman as there is not way of verify who's right or wrong.:dunno:

uv sticker or 52 mm filter better for LX3

Yea... The lens is so exposed so that's the reason I got the filter+adapter... if the filter is dirty I clean... if it gets scratched, just change another filter... lol

    Buying online??

Rule of thumb, if it sounds too good to be true, more often than not, it is. Is the savings really substantial? I mean if you pay slightly more than the price mentioned and get it from a reputable shop, you won't have to worry so much and you get your camera immediately insteading of waiting...

uv sticker or 52 mm filter better for LX3

I've got the original 46mm adapter and B+W filter. It is indeed bulky... Dun mind me asking, is there any way to attach a lens cover over the filter itself?? The original lens cover definately cannot fit. ProtonXPR, do u use your filter & adapter often?? How do you protect the filter?
