At Beijing the is a wholesale place near WuKesong bridge. It is a 2 lvl building, first level with all the camera products with 30~40 shops. you can get very competitive price there. went to a random shop to check out Nikon d300 price, was quoted at RMB 11500 (SGD2300) and VR 18m-200mm lens...

Google maps at US are the most detailed, other than main cities, most location search are pretty limited.
