For the low light pics, seems like the bottom pic tend to have a blue cast to it. Don't know if it's just the lighting. The top pic has darker skies. Quick judging by the resolution, the top pic has slight better details (insignificant la) at the pillows. Top D90? For good light pics, seems...

Hmm... I never thought about the d5100... I thought a newer one might be better in case her hubby complain ha... I would have gotten a 2nd hand d90 or d300s or d700 personally.

Guess so..... but don't u find the minimum focusing dist a bit troublesome esp in small places? One of the reason why i still prefer to use a PnS for food.
