    Hi Alftan, I think this is a Wonderpus not the Mimic Octopus. They look alike, but the Mimic has a distinct lateral white lines under the arms. Check in the ID book to confirm.

    In the book they call it Sea Squirt or Tunicate. They feed on nutrients in the water by filtering them.
