The TX-7 uses the AVCHD encoding for its 1080i videos.
The TX-5 only captures at 720p. What encoding does it use? Not the AVCHD, I believe, or it would be advertised as such.
At the end of the day, is the TX-5 video bigger or smaller than the TX-7 video? (720p is inherently smaller, but...
Is it? Sony showrooms don't have it. I called up Sony and they have no idea when it is coming too. That was at the end of March.
Edit: it's available now.
I believe salary.sg gets its data from DOS too, so singstat.gov.sg is the place to go.
I found a recent paper "Key Household Income Trends, 2008", dated Jan 2009. It is up-to-date and should have the answer that the TS is looking for. Sometimes, it does not give the exact statistics, so you...
I'm interested to get the Sony lens book, but Sony doesn't offer it for sale. I'm hoping to get it from someone who has it.
My question is, where should I post it?
- Sony/Konica-Minolta
- Buy/Sell: Sony/Konica-Minolta Equipment
- Buy/Sell: Photography Accessories
or elsewhere?
Help...
Is there a reason to prefer the Sony version to the Minolta version?
I only know that the Sony one has rubber focusing grip, vs plastic for Minolta. Any other difference?
Although the Minolta one is expensive (2nd hand), I presume the Sony one is even more expensive?
I guess the recession hasn't hit everyone. If you are in manufacturing or semi-cond, it is very real.
My brother's company has asked employees to take no-pay leave, spread out over the next few months. My company has encouraged us to take leave; it's not mandatory yet. Companies are cutting...
If you read the article carefully, it says 13.1% in earmarked retirement account. If the general account is counted, it becomes 82%.
I suspect it is talking about SA and OA. So, as long as you don't use your OA for housing, it is very adequate for retirement. And then the article also said...
Well, in the context of this thread, I'm basing on the $20k/month rental for Bugis Junction. For crowded places, you don't really need good food; the crowd is a given.
Suppose the rent is just $1k/month, the hawker now makes an extra $19k/month! That isn't lucrative enough?
There are...
Looks like being a hawker is a lucrative business. Too bad it is at the mercy of landlords, so they could have easily earned their way to riches through hard work. Reminds me of taxi drivers and their crippling rents.
I brought the FE2 on my trip and it jammed twice. When the negatives came back, the neighbouring frames were all fogged; I lost 3-4 frames each time. I don't know if it's due to the removing of the base or that I didn't cover the lens when I fiddled with the mechanism.
