    Ae-1

check this site for a manual (if you haven't got one) http://www.canonfd.com/choose.htm, the battery info is on page 15 of the AE-1 manual. But you might not find the ones recommended in '78 in stores now, I use a Duracell 6V lithium battery instead.

    efs 18-55mm question

Ricohflex, on which Canon EOS model did you test it? I wouldn't take Bob Atkins articles as "pure fiction", he usually does a very good job for his articles, and besides he just warns that he only tested for a 10D digi and an EOS IX lite film body. Maybe you can post a few pictures of your...

    efs 18-55mm question

Yes, can! (BUT takes some work & effort... read carefully...) check: http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/tutorials/efs-10d.html & http://www.camerahacker.com/Canon/18-55mm.shtml warning from Bob Atkins because the EF-s fits only APS-size sensor/mirror: "Here's a bigger warning: IF...

    Nikkor Reflex 500mm f/8

I do not have the Nikkor, but have the Tamron 500mm SP mirror, Is it sharp? Yes, pretty sharp if you focus right! But do consider the DOF characteristics of this lens (quite shallow). Also, focussing might not be too easy depending on the available light, + consider it is always f/8 (or...

    Places that ban shooting

Interesting matter. The following link does not apply directly to the Singapore situation, but I guess that similar legal train of thought is also applied in a modern constitutional state as Singapore. site: http://www.krages.com/phoright.htm pdf directly...

here also no idea about a package, but what I did: bought the tickets directly through the website of the circuit http://www.malaysiangp.com.my/ and bought a cheap flight ticket with Air Asia, local transport with the infamous malaysian taxi drivers to get the real race experience!

Here is the full frame shot with a 500mm f/8 mirror from the back of the K1 grandstand: (noticed later that I had a light leak...) (and the crop I eventually made) http://gallery.photo.net/photo/2708350-md.jpg so 2x 200mm will do I guess. Since you're shooting digital, I guess you...
