Thanks, not what I meant...the model FF have is X-S1 ............not XS-1. It is part of FF's X series, not XS series.

What camera is this...?? FF doesn't have any model known as XS-1.

With the X-S1 it's slightly different from X10 - you'll have to wait till 21st Mar for the new firmware update then. FF thinks the problem will will be solved then. X10 quite confirmed it's FOC replacement but must still first apply the 1.03 fw before they include you in the replacement list.

current remedy is to use firmware 1.03 and use EXR mode.

they will replace foc the sensor of x10 and x-s1 from May 2012 onwards.

Fujifilm had just made the official announcement...a new sensor available FROM late May 2012!

While at the IT show this weekend, I took a look and also got a feel of the X-S1. It feels really good in the hand, much like a regular DSLR. What I love about it is the manual zoom lens - smooth and responsive. In low-light the AF does hunt a bit. I think if the price is much lower like around...
