i was using 12-24 afs. with such wide angle and afs that shd be a fast focusing lens oredi... my d70 just can't keep up .. the target is moving, i try to pan along with it and half shutter while doing so. whenever i snap, always too late.

dun bother with it... go and purchase the lightsphere. much better.

at a price of 1999 US, the d2h is unbelievably good value. I'm seriously considering upgrading..... i've seen places in US that can even get it at abt 1800US w/o tax for brand new. i won't say i've maxed out the d70 even (my skill level not that good), but there have been more than one...

Are D2hs still in production? If not, how much does a new one cost now? And how much are 2nd hand ones going for? Are they compatible with nikon's new sb600/800 flashes?

u r rite in that the tamron is plasticish. i've got the 28-75, and the tamron 90mm di, all damn plastic. lousy build. this is where tokina quality is DAMN solid. its L series quality imho. but i chose to go with the sharper image of the 28-75 xr di... but imho, its not THAT much...

hi bros, did this some time back b4 i got my tamron and was deciding btw the two. also tried 18-50 2.8 sigma, also not as sharp as tamron. color wise tamron also is warmer which may appeal to some. build quality, sigma definitely better. tamron zoom ring very loose. turn upside down lens...

do consider 28-75 tamron...

bro dun waste ur time, it pales in comparison to tamron 28-75.

faster go collect from weekh. just got mine from him today. its damn shiok. its everything that the omnibounce never was. imho imnibounce is a total waste of time compared to lightsphere. I think the idea of the omni was just to diffuse the light before it even bounces off the ceiling. so...

i've got a usb2.0 enclosure with a 200gb hdd. Def fast enuff for me. 15 gig transfers quite quick. no problems.

i use lens soluton and lens tissue. only once in a long while coz if u do it everyday, will wear away multi coat. otherwise can use lens pen for small specks. or just leave it like that. shdnt affect image too much
