Could it be the PH value of the dry cabinet set to "too dry"? Those peeling demo sets at Best Denkis, Canon Vivo could be due to their constant aircon environment which is too dry and causes the glue to loose it's effectiveness. Just guessing...

My 60D already comes with firmware 1.0.8 which they claimed to be the new firmware. I am not too sure what has changed from 1.0.5 though.

In terms of picture quality, 550d, 60d and 7d are the same. I suggest u go try them out in your own hands and do some tests at the shops. Unless you like things small and light, i can bet u will eventually be attracted by the better build quality & ergonomics, bigger OVF and nicer shutter...

I agree to go direct with 18-200. Versatile range and you be amazed that even at 200mm F5.6, it's sharp enough for most shoots. If you are professional who require maximum quality and sharpness, you won't be getting 60D in the first place.
