    Help! Canon 60D Rubber Peeling

Could it be the PH value of the dry cabinet set to "too dry"? Those peeling demo sets at Best Denkis, Canon Vivo could be due to their constant aircon environment which is too dry and causes the glue to loose it's effectiveness. Just guessing...

    550 D or 60 D

To add on, having metal or plastic body wont make a difference when then camera drops on the ground. Many would argue plastic will crack while metal will only dent or scratch. Seriously its the internal components that will take the damage whatever the outer shell is made of. No matter what...

    550 D or 60 D

Well, it will be the same comparison for 60D to 7D then, why would we want to pay more for magnesium body and faster FPS when we can get the same IQ? It all voice down to personal perference, some prefer bigger heavier and brighter/bigger OVF and some prefer smaller lighter bodies. No camera...

    Canon 60D: Homerun or Disappointment?

My 60D already comes with firmware 1.0.8 which they claimed to be the new firmware. I am not too sure what has changed from 1.0.5 though.

    550 D or 60 D

In terms of picture quality, 550d, 60d and 7d are the same. I suggest u go try them out in your own hands and do some tests at the shops. Unless you like things small and light, i can bet u will eventually be attracted by the better build quality & ergonomics, bigger OVF and nicer shutter...

    7D or 60D?

I came from Sony A700 too and recently changed to 60D for the same reason, the overall tone is more neutral compared to yellowish tint that Sony has. I got 60D as it is at least $800 cheaper which allow me to get a very good Sigma 17-50 with it. 7D no doubt is a faster, more featured and...

Don't need 18-55 mm kit lens if you have 18-200 mm lens

Yes, the fact that you bought the 18-200 already means you have accepted it to replace the 18-55 which in the case is redundant. Be it build quality, zoom range, optical quality, 18-200 can match or better than 18-55. I got the 18-200 just for it's convenient range when I am out shooting...

    Canon 60D

I agree to go direct with 18-200. Versatile range and you be amazed that even at 200mm F5.6, it's sharp enough for most shoots. If you are professional who require maximum quality and sharpness, you won't be getting 60D in the first place.

    Recommended Travel Lens

Bro, just to ask opinions, I am going to the KL Motor show this weekend, which lens would be preferable if I only intend to bring 1 lens? Is Sigma 17-50 F2.8 more useful since most of the pictures might be wide angle to capture the cars and probably lighting is poor and F2.8 is useful as I...

No sure abt 7D but the sigma works perfectly well on my 60D. So good that i am always using f2.8 indoors which is sharp and without much ca.

    60D at Sitex

Yup, my friend was at Sitex today and the Canon booth quoted him retail price $2099 for kitII that comes with 18-135lens, standard freebies like 8GB, Bag, LCD Protector, lousy tripod. Then I advised him to go MSColor who quoted $1899 for the same kit, minus the useless tripod. He immediately...
