Check & clean mount contacts of both lens & camera. May use eraser at the end of pencil. Just avoid particles dropping into it. Swap with another Sony lens to try, if available. If still having problem thereafter, your camera mount may suspect to have a problem. Visit SSC asap. This...

Are both types of batteries of same rating, ie. power, current, voltage? Otherwise it's not a good idea. :sweat:

Depends on pricing ;) There is no change for Sony mount. Sorry.. maybe I wasn't clear enough. This is applicable for Nikon mount only - to cater more towards their D40, D60, D5000,..

If i'm not wrong, these are different things mah :nono: The Tamron for D90 comes with built-in motor. The Tamron for A700 used the motor from cam. The Sony from A200 to A700/A900 have improved on its motor speed/torque. Edit: Much earlier batch of Tammy do not have motor in the lens for...

okay bro, thanks for the heads up ;) Understand that there are always signal/transmission losses. That quote (54Mbps & 11Mbps) is based on the estimated fastest speed. Just like wireless broadband standard in 801g, 801b,.. real life is at least few times slower.
