if i were approached by various firms for photos for use in their newsletters and such, how much should i charge. roughly? one of them complained they had to pay 600 bucks for a photo and were looking for cheaper alternatives :bsmilie:

all digicams can be fooled by weird lighting. especially on zone

great photo but i would give either the mosque or the reflection more space. looks almost dead centre to me

i never use manual mode anyway....use exposure compensation unless shooting panorama

i think im going to get a d50 over the d70s simply because i prefer my shots less noisy. and the extra features isnt worth 500 bucks IMO

how bout just putting a vignette on it? 1) New layer 2) fill black 3) set to soft light 4) Pick eraser, set a large enough size so it fits right in the middle of the frame and erase abit so you got a nice oval shape down the middle. 5) adjust opacity. 70% or so should do it.

its going to be difficult to get natural looking results especially since theres little bits of sky peeking out from under the trees. its always better to try and alter things before you take the picture (nd grad, polarisers etc)
