sorry, found it.

it comes with a built in flash and the manual mentioned how to use it. but strangely there's no battery in it, neither can i find the slot to insert battery. anyone familiar with this cam? TIA.

free labour sounds weird to me.

Not all the time, most of the time it will still be able to light up but will not be able to detect. Try changing the cable first. If still cant detect most prob have to bring down to service centre.

cant detect but is the light on the HDD lighted? perhaps cable is faulty, try changing it.

cover same focal length and distance? still consider upgrade? :dunno: dun think there's a bigger version of 18-55 IS. Perhaps you need to be clear of which aspects you're shooting, before upgrading?
