I've got a question to ask D70 users. Do you remove the battery when camera is not in use? I notice that the Control Panel LCD shows the number of shots left when battery is not removed. This is no good for the display. Can it be turned off without having to remove the battery?

Hi, I oso finally got the D70 at Lords today at a price of 1660 for body+kit! I oso include the Nikkor 70-300mm telephoto lens for 88 as advertised. I found it too attractive to miss this offer. Hence, I sold all my ERS + a bit of top up in order to buy them. BTW, CF didnt come with kit.

Hi Leeter, My colleague has a C5050 too and he bought a Hoya cir pol for about $32 at Lords in Lucky Plaza.
