    Answer to your question. Yes. Camera bodies devalue faster than lenses. Moreover, I've read that by combining consumer grade lens wif good bodies, you will see the lens' flaws much easily. Getting a D3 for someone like you (one year exp) is like getting a ferrari and driving on a 90km/h...
