Interesting...both live view and tilting LCD screen are good to have but not a must have. I am more inclined to get a A350 than 450D mainly with Image Stabiliser built into the camera than the lens. I didn't want to make a hasty decision and regret later.. ;)

Yes, I did check out both cameras at the shop and played with them. They are pretty similar to me. Canon has better handling while Sony has more functions which is why I am still asking around for more advise.
