For those using K50/500 who are having the blackout pics/screen I got a solution. At the back of the lens there's a moving lever that control the aperture opening. Move it up & the lens opening 's the biggest. Insert a small piece of paper(indicated by white arrow) into the groove & the lever won't move back. Now put back in the camera & you won't have the blackout screen. Only problem is when shooting outdoors during daytime will get overexposed. Have to adjust accordingly. For me I used Manual mode on my K500
