Pen F price dropping. Pen F Mark II coming?

Sorry to hijack this thread.
Wanna ask the seasoned Olympus shooters about the AF confirmation in the Pen F.
Why doesn't the AF box (circled green ) turn green when AF is acquired?
Instead there is a green dot (circled red)to tell us that AF is acquired.
Is there a setting I missed out?
Hey bro. I believe your "AF Area Pointer" is set to Off. Try turning on the green box will be back

The AF area pointer is set to on.
The green box will appear only a short while (maybe less than a sec) to indicate AF is acquired and then back to black, leaving only the AF confirmation green dot at the top right corner.
I am just back to using Olympus after a few years. Dun remember the AF confirmation to be working like that.
Seems Pen F exhibits this. While EPL9 doesn't.
I found EM1 Mark II has a setting On1 and On2 and off. On1 is what you saw. While On2 is what most you had used in Olympus usually, Pen F is On1 mode or Off, there's no On2 selection. So i guess will have to stick with it.

Which color you got? I think the silver is mostly out of stock island wide. I started with Pen EPL1 long time ago and now I am back with PEN.
I got the silver. Didn’t know it was out of stock actually. Also got the grip.
I started out with GH2 many years ago but I mostly shot with E-M5 original but have been away from m43 for a few years. This is my re-entry.
I am getting it near me at Harvey Norman which only got black but if I want to wait, they can order the silver for me. I have the original EM5 in black instead of silver because I find the silver too toyie looking. lol. I haven't seen the silver on Pen F yet in real person, not sure if it is the same as back then. lol.
Yea, all my previous cameras have always been black. Not sure why I chose silver this time but I don't regret it at all haha.
Looks really nice in silver actually. Maybe cos of the retro looks.
I work in the Orchard area so if you're in the area I can show you the silver version in real life.
I just got it an hour ago, lol. I got the silver one. Harvey Norman's staff was nice enough to get one of their colleagues to bring over from other outlet. I knew I had to take the silver when I saw it. It is unlike the silver from OMD. Maybe due to its design, silver on PEN F looks damn retro.
