Hi All,

Just joined clubsnap. I'm from the Philippines originally but I'm moving to SG soon (August!) to study post-grad. The program would be 2 years so I'll be staying for quite some time.

Fun part: I'm bringing with me my M rangefinders

So here are my questions:

1. Best place for C41 processing: I hear triple D is fast and economical. Any other suggestions?
2. Best place for BW processing: I've no info on this. Any suggestions?
3. Best place to buy film: I hear film is not cheap compared to the US. Am I better off buying from BHphoto in NY?

Hoping to shoot with you guys soon!

Nathan

Konota @ Peninsula. They have an express service which is very convenient compared to making a second trip to pick up the film.

DIY@Home.

Otherwise you can get it done by any of the C41 places -- they all send it off to the same place I think. 3-5 days wait.

Depends on what sort of film and how much you shoot. If you only do a few rolls a year, not worth it. I buy all of my film from places like Freestyle and Macodirect, but I mostly do b&w.

Thanks!! I'll check Konota once I get settled in.

Looks like I'm better off ordering from BHphoto. I'm bringing 400 feet of Eastman 5222 also so I guess that should be enough for my hobbyist needs.

Where can I get developing supplies and chemicals?
