any brand still a camera and lens, so you switch to fuji means you can sell 50k per photo? Everything evolves no need to say this good or bad, alot depends on user. For people who is critical about same design, tell me which brand comes out left handed shutter and viewfinder at the bottom instead of on top

GM Lenses 85 and 2470 are there but no a6500. The RX-100v is there.

A bit hard for me to stomach paying so much for an APSC camera that doesn't seem like it's built like a tank. Need to hold it in my hands to conclude but at $2k I'm just not feeling it yet!

A6500 at $1949, free 64GB SD card (Sony branded), free carrying case and one free battery.

Also purchase with purchase the 16-70 CZ lens which I have been looking for at $1099.

This would be the complete package for me but at $3048, that's A7RII territory?

At $3048 still not enough to get the A7RII 😆😆.

I getting the A6500 for IBIS, Fast AF lock, longer Burst speed and the crop sensor.

Because I like to shoot flying aircraft and BIF. 4K video recording and the rest is good to have.

A7RII body only. is 3799 SGD..incl. GST.

Ya man...have been out of the market for sometime and still using my trusty A6000. Was shocked when i received email from Sony and saw the price tag of the A6500 body only @ $1949. Its more than twice of my A6000. Seriously??

The price is high so that means the camera price going up or the camera is so gd to worth e price.

From my perspective, if you require just what A6000 offer then get it, otherwise if the added functions that A6500 offers is the kind photographic tool you require then get that.
Sony segmented it as such. A6000 will not be phase out when A6500 is introduced.

I know, everyone wished they are priced similar becoz A6500 is an upgrade of A6300 etc..but actually they segment it into 3 categories.

It's again the question of what u need versus what you want.
