What are the adjustment you done? Looks really nice.
The rest of the adjustments were really up to my personal taste and preference, in addition to the basic adjustments above, I also adjusted:
1. ND gradient filter to the sky (lower exposure, recover more details in the sky)
2a. Brush strokes to the sky to recreate what was seen by the naked eye (warmer temperature and red-er tint), although this I admit was a little more enhanced that it actually was.
2b. Brush strokes to the water to further smoothen it and recreate the reflection of the sky (reduced clarity and boosted exposure).
2c. Brush strokes to the shoreline and trees to improve contrasting colours to the image (boosted saturation, cooler temperature, increased contrast and clarity to increase the fine details in the trees, rocks and water)
2d. Brush strokes to the post in the foreground (cooler temperature, increased clarity)
3. Various spot removal for random odd objects in the water (mostly rubbish like plastic bottles/bags floating around). No sensor dust as of yet.
4. Post-crop vignetting to further enhance the leading line (shoreline in this case) to the sunrise.
5. Noise reduction of 10 (ISO 100 only)
6. Sharpening of 90 and masking to exclude the sky and water (to keep the sky and water smooth and creamy while retaining everything else sharp).
To be honest although this is one of my favourite compositions to date, it is not the best in terms of technical photography. I was slightly disappointed that I did not account for the water to make the little dinghies in the background bob up and down so much that with a 4 sec exposure some of them a little blur. It's hard to see in the processed image but at 100% crop it's very obvious. But still, I'm glad you liked it! Hope I helped!
Bryant, you really made the 10-18 sing.
Beautiful shots.
Thank you Snapdiner!! It's not easy to compose with a UWA lens but for some reason I always end up using this lens for landscape even though I have sharper lenses in my kit. I need to force myself to compose with other lenses!
