Tripod & Flash Gun

Hi All,

I'm having an old DSLR Nikon D60. I plan to get a tripod and flash gun that are compatible with D60.

Can anyone give me some recommendations?

Most camera tripod would work.
What tripod to use depends on your camera and lens setup and what you want to shoot.

Flash .. Cheapest is get a sb400 or sb600 if you want to stick to Nikon ... If not then third party flash can be quite value for money.

I only got 2 kit lens. do you have any recommendation for tripod such as model no?

How about 3rd party flash model that is compatible with Nikon D60?

Why not you give a budget?
If you go for Benro or Sirui brand you probably can get a proper tripod for less the 200.

Flash, i never used third party flash on Nikon before so i would not recommend, other bros might be able to help you on this. I do have a SB600 which I haven been using .. if you keen can PM me.

I recommend SLIK Pro 340 BH or equivalent SLIK AMT model. Made of AMT (Aluminium, Magnesium & Titanium) material, it is lightweight, tough & durable. It's under $200. BH for ball head; you can opt for other types. I've used SLIK AMT for many years; it's very good.
