Why controlling the tradition media is so important

Even though we are in the 21th century, whereby new media provides alternate channel for communication, we must not undermine the traditional media.

This is very apparent in this GE.

The traditional media such as television stations, newspapers, etc are used as a very effective tool to promote a particular party. You will realise that we will be bombarded with messages, news, etc of a party everyday. It is a kind of brainwashing.

You may be a young chap, generation Y person who knows how to use new media to obtain alternate messages but not everyone is IT savvy especially the elderly or older generations. Therefore, controlling the tradition media is so critical.

hahah I am 52 yrs old. I get all my news censored and uncensored online listening to all sides. The last time I switch on my TV is possibly 2005. heh.... never miss it and I get more clearer news that way. But the really old folks will vote the way they traditionally would or be sway by their children political slant to vote with them. But that old generation voters are about phased out. But another 1-2 election period, all the contemporaries will be in place and that is where things will get very "interesting'. This election will be interesting to watch.

hahah I am 52 yrs old. I get all my news censored and uncensored online listening to all sides. I remember vividly, 5 years ago on polling day, the first piece of news I heard on radio was about how investors would be daunted should the incumbent party lose the election. Talk about fair play .....

And guess once the country in which there is no free press.
And where every day the news is censored.

And he is a chicken hawk conscientious objector playing all big saying he would use the US military if he had too.

I don't like to sound so cynical but America has been so gerrymandered that in my state for example if you are liberal forget about winning anything...your vote does not count period. Let's not even go into the cheating, dead people voting, and hanging chads and all of that stuff.
