Big thanks to JK for the sharing session. I'm sure most of us leaner some tricks and tips today.

And thanks to those who came for the outing, it's really fun to shoot and chitchat with old and new friends. Hope we can have more guys show up in future outings.

As usual (well, kind of), I'll start with the group photos, sorry for those who left earlier:

Thanks very much for JK.....really informative and appreciated his effort to promote Pentax.....Cheers

Thanks, Jk! And thanks all who came. I enjoyed the chit-chats, the sharing session, and of-course this morning's blessed sunrise for such good light. Image #1 from my collection during the session ...

Taken with the Pentax "Compact" ... the ubiquitous view point of Merlion Park!

Jaiyen, Thanks for your remote! I didn't get to use it during the session but I definitely will be using it!

Thank you very much, JK for your sharing section. Nice to meet all friendly friends for the chit chat section as well. Sadly I learnt about composition too late so can only have this kind of shot. Try to follow your basic processing and here my first contribution of the outing using Ricoh GR + Ricoh GW-3 21mm wide converter.

Wowww....very clean and detailed shots....:)

Since I didn't have the right tool (I know, just excuses ;)), I wasn't really into the sunrise shots but some candid shots:

Who says the younger ones are into digital only while the mature ones still stick to film?

Very nice shot.

You are too modest.
I doubt you need any instruction from me.
Thanks for support the event. :)

I knew I was going to miss the blue hr when I checked the time for the earliest train on Sun.
Gosh! 5.56AM....
That would mean reaching the Merlion Park area by 6.40AM.

Luckily, this time of the year, the Sun rises a bit later, but I lost the blue hour for sure.

Pentax Q7 + 08

JK, Also you didn't really miss much of the twilight hours. The transition was too quick. In fact the light was much better after ... And got to admire you sticking to the plan of using 35, not easy!

Chipvn, nice 21mm shot! GR is always GR! Colors straight out already nice.

Jaiyen, post some shots!

FengWei, your shot of the "eye" just shows how compact the 15mm is even on a "PONY".
