Advice on getting a camera for mini home studio

Hi all, i need help in choosing a camera for a mini home studio that im thinking of setting up.

Usage: Mainly for full body shots and product shots too. Will use it for travelling too so hopefully not bulky.

Budget: $800 - $1100. Still have to buy tripod, softbox lighting and umbrella.( any advice on setting up would be good too)

Wants : User friendly ( I know nuts about photography)
Good quality images which looks clear and professional when put on website.

I looked at DSLR at courts site, the most value seems to be the NIKON D3200 priced at $739 with 24 megapix and 18-55mm lens. Need advice because i only know how to judge cameras by their megapix.

I shot with a 12MP camera can sell for stock photos. FYI, their lowest requirement is only 4MP photos.
so a 24MP Camera is more than enough, mirrorless cameras also a good choice.
the more important thing is the lighting set up.

anyway, what matters most is the person who know how to use the tools

so just use the forum search engine to search the keyword "Home Studio", limit your search to "General Discussion" and "Equipment Discussion", there are four pages of threads on this topic.

This one cannot be delivered by any camera. If you don't know what to do, no camera will be of any help.
You will have to learn more than just the basics of photography, lighting and post-processing to achieve what you want.

TS no offence but if you know nuts about photography just like you said it, getting the right equipment will not get you the results you need. If you need images quickly.for your.website, you are better off hiring someone else to shoot for you.

All recent cameras can give you the 'looks clear' shots. But 'looks professional' depends on the skill of the person using the equipment.

And, mini home studio for full portraits and products while travelling??? And I can already see that the strobes/lightstands/softboxes to be quite bulky already.

Depending on if it's indoor or outdoor and the lighting condition, your lighting stuffs may differ alot.

Nothing more to add on to what the seniors have already mentioned. Just want to say the price u have mentioned for D3200 is quite high, look around different shops and you can get a D3300 for less than that.
