I encountered an unusual issue with my D750. A few times after I locked focus (using the assigned AF on button) but I couldn't trigger the shutter to take the shot. I noticed in the viewfinder, on the bottom left display, there's a right pointing arrow appearing...somehow indicating the focus is not locked. The scene i'm shooting have sufficient light. Has anyone face this before?

Did u make sure you set the shutter release in AF-C mode to be release priority instead of lock priority?

Hey guys..just a quick check..does your D750 rattle when shaken lightly? Read somewhere it is the pop up flash or orientation sensor..the rattle is there whether the pop up flash is up or down..so just wondering if it's an inherent design thing or something's loose in mine

I just discover this and wanna check if any season user here has this issue.

I just got mine D750 .. ( Hurray!! )
and I started doing some video recording on the 1080 50p for about 1 minute of so.. After 1-2 clips i took the SD card out to see the footage and I found that the SD card was very hot. It not warm but hot.

Anyone has this issue? or is it just normal?

How about the rest? The rattling sound comes from the area below the pop up flash..it's there even if the flash is up or down..

If I'm the only one I will definitely bring to NSC and see what they say

Yes when I read your post I realised mine also had a sound whenever I hold the camera.
I checked in detail again it is because I did not put on the neck strap.
The sound I got was from the strap holes moving due to no neck strap attached.
When I hold them down, I do not have any sound liao.

I checked in detail again it is because I did not put on the neck strap. The sound I got was from the strap holes moving due to no neck strap attached. When I hold them down, I do not have any sound liao.

I removed the strap loops from the body already cos I'm not using a neck strap..so basically I've got nothing that is loose or movable..it's gotta be internal..held on to the flash when it's up and down but still there is something rattling inside.

Weatherproof but not shake proof ;p

Probably got to do a shake test: body + lens, body only no lens, body only with flash pop up to try to identify the source of the sound
Also is the sound loud and obvious or very faint and hard to notice
