After a couple of years, the rubber coating on the camera boy and lens tends to have a sticky feel. Guess that it is due to moisture and environment condition.

What is the best way to remove the sticky feel of it?

Thank you.

Thank you.

The safest way is to go back to ur service centre. If u dun mind risking it, I have tried methylated spirit with some success on other equipment

I had some success with Isopropyle Alcohol (Guardian, $5 for 200ml) and some baby powder. If you don't mind the greyish look...
But different rubber types / mixtures will give different results, so replacing is the cleanest way.

Normally I would use a silicone product.

For rubber o-rings of my underwater camera I would use silicone grease but it makes the rubber greasy. For something less greasy, I would use this:

Thanks for all the kind responses and will try it.

cheers!
