Had a very bad experience with Samuel Ng from Pixioo photography. Agreed on date time and price more than a month ago and was flown aero plane at 1 year old birthday event.

I believe no matter how good a photographer is, with such irresponsible attitude, it makes one wonder what kind of professionalism are we talking about.

The event has ended, nothing can be done to relive it.

sorry to hear about it. did you contact him prior to event date, to remind him?

managed to call him earlier just now?

In :light:Business aspect/professionalism/attitude, was surprised that you asked TS to "did you contact him prior to event date, to remind him?":thumbsd: ...Absurd, really...imagine every customers/clients need to remind their photographer instead:eek:...!!!

TS was right to post the photographer and biz name here:thumbsup:, due to such irresponsible attitude, it makes one wonder what kind of professionalism:flush:...!!!

i agreed on that. but i will also worried if photographer did not contact me to say he is coming. then as customer i need to be proactive as well.

i rem i ordered furniture few yrs back. they said will call me the day before delivery to confirm timing. however i did not recv any calls, so i rang them on the day itself, they overlooked and they arrange to deliver that day.

so imagine if i did not made that call.

I had a bad experience with Samuel too.

During the 1st meet up, Samuel mentioned to us that he will be out of town and will be back a day before my wedding. We were okay with that.

After the meetup, I asked for an invoice and the deposit amount. No reply until the 2nd week and he informed me that he will not be able to make it for the morning session and his partner will be taking over. He told me that he will be back in time for the afternoon session (wedding lunch). We okay-ed it (thinking back, it was a huge mistake). Invoice was only sent to me 5 weeks after the meet up (I was left with 7 weeks to my wedding then).

Fast forward to a week before my wedding, we communicated via whatsapp regarding the actual day details.

On the actual day, in the morning, someone asked about his whereabouts and his partner mentioned his flight was delayed and he will be late. Samuel told his partner on the morning itself. He did not message me about the delay, or that he wasn't going to turn up at all. Things were already chaotic at that time and he was the last thing on my mind. True enough, he did not turn up for the afternoon session at all.

I waited 2-3 days for his apology. NOTHING. When I finally messaged him, he told me, in his actual words, "I forgot to inform you."

Still feeling weird about his whole story, I went to search for his "delayed" flight. Turned out it landed on time. With all the information I went to confront him.

To cut the story short, he gave excuses. I told him his plane was on schedule; he then told me he landed approx 10.41 (1st phonecall received); clear customs etc at 12-1 pm and then added "frankly speaking I am also abit tired and shaq due to the flight. And by the time I reached your hotel I am afraid the party is going to over.."

I have no words for his actions. He was irresponsible and unprofessional. He asked whether there is a way to compensate us. Is there any way to compensate anyone in such situation? I don't know.

The only good thing that came out from this whole incident is that at least his partner is professional enough, and at such a young age too.

Please note that his partner is a freelance photographer and has got nothing to do with Pixioo.

I've engaged Pixioo for the PG/VG package but ONLY SAMUEL did not deliver what he said. I am very pleased with the work attitude of the freelance photographer and the VG.

hmmm... are you his friend?

Anyway, I am not active on clubsnap. It is very easy to come to this thread. Just google "pixioo". This thread is on the 2nd page :) Google is really useful you know.

Also, I have all the whatsapp messages between me and Samuel saved on my phone; and have also posted the exact review as above, on Pixioo's fb page. I have nothing to hide.

The truth is, he is irresponsible. That was my wedding I was talking about. I do not have the time to tarnish people's business for fun, if that was what you were implying.

Hope the above clarifies.

Cheers

Oh, by the way, I've also printscreen the review I've posted on his FB because I was afraid it will get deleted. Seems to me all the posting (1 from me) are now gone. So...

nahhh.. not a friend of that company that is mentioned here. since you have all the printscreen, good to share with the people here to avoid similar incidents from happening.

Of course. Here is just one of it. I believe it is enough to show his professionalism.

Tired or not, you should have the courtesy to message your client that your flight is delayed, or whatever reason you think you couldn't make it. My wedding was on 22 June. As you can see, the message was dated 27 June. 5 days after the wedding, plenty of time for him to apologise, whether or not 'I thought my partner will pass the message to you.'

He's busy hiding/deleting my comments on Pixioo's fb page. Posting by others are also disabled now. :/

His behaviour and failure to give a response here in CS or on his Facebook would be bad for his business.

It's such "professional" Photographer who give the industry a bad name

I just went through his websites and every words was sang until very nice to get couples trapped in his clutches.
A seriously irresponsible and and non-professional photographer and his photos doesn't make much difference from the usual wedding photos probably just copycat or monkey see monkey do style.
even my friends asked me out for a casual shoot and if i can't make it i will still at least informed them beforehand, what's more he is being paid to work but shirk all responsibilities just because his "eldest aunt came and visit him for that week of the month?"

From his messages I sensed that he couldn't care much about what happened. I got to find out from some others that he MIA-ed on them too but luckily for them, it was not after confirmation.

Never mind.

Let this thread serves as a warning to others about this company so that they won't engage their services.

Social media and Google search are powerful tools.....

Sorry for your opinion because I call one photographer from Pixioo for my marriage. Not only I am telling about this work but punctuality of his time is too good. His captured photo is very clean and looking like a good professional photographer and I am thinking to recall him once again because of my brother marriage. For my side you should take a one deal from them I guaranty say that you will not be disappoint from Pixioo.

From your profile, you're in the same business. Why do you need to get pixico to shoot your wedding? And now you're looking for them to shoot your brother's wedding
