Haven't been updating this thread, recently starting to feel that my photos aren't up to my expectations, and I've started noticing issues in my camera such as a green tint and ghosting in my viewfinder. Darn.

Yes that's me

#39 Into the Fire
It's been a long time since I had an image where I am actually pretty satisfied with, hence the long period of silence from this page. Turned out revisiting this location didn't turn out that bad after all. Well clumsy me still fell into a deep puddle of mud but oh well, at least the sunset was great.

Technical information:
3 image HDR/DRI
1 timelapsed image for lights in CBD
Further processed in Lightroom

I think it's well worth the fall.. even if it must have been messy. :)

Luckily I was wearing sandals that day, not as hard to wash... Was still contemplating if I should wear my shoes in the afternoon :bsmilie:

Thinking back, dunno why that day I wore sandals also... Usually wear shoes go shoot one...

Maybe you subconsciously felt like getting closer to nature :)

#40 Splendour

One from the National Day Parade Rehearsals last Saturday. Arrived at location slightly later, due to a decision to have dinner before shooting (although the dinner was not bad). Lo and behold, after the tripods were setup and cameras mounted, it began to drizzle. At least the drizzle didn't dampen the spirits and stopped after awhile.

Well, I don't really like how this photo turned out, but thinking back, it's been almost a year since I've been shooting landscapes, and it all too began with fireworks. Well, at least I've made progress in this year :)

#42 Customary

One last photo for now. Don't think I'll be shooting for the next few weeks or even months, just recovered from a surgery. Can't even stand straight now, guess I don't need to think about carrying my bag of gear out :(

In other news, I'm really interested in the D810.

Progress is definitely there ! Nice shot :)

Nice shots, looking forward to your other shots. :)

#43 Askewed

This was taken on the NDP Preview a week back. Despite reaching this location around 5 hours before the fireworks, it was already taken up by other photographers who reached even earlier! Well, another day, I will be back for the fireworks from that elusive spot in the centre. :(

#44 Emerald City

I've never been the largest fan of panoramic photography, but even I'm unsure why, recently I've been starting to do some panning. Well, regarding this scene, due to my inexperience in creating panoramas, I opted for a 2 by 2 composition, resulting in a nightmare when stitching. Maybe I'll be back in the Emerald City again, who knows?

Orchard Gateway Emerald, Singapore.

Meanwhile in other news, I've realised that this thread has been deviating more towards land/city-scapes, and maybe it's time to move to the landscapes section soon :(

Nice shot there! Looking forward to more of your pictures!!

Nice addition of photos! Yeah you should post at the landscape section, probably can get more visibility :)
