It was published in newspaper also.

Saw on challenger facebook page or somewhere else that there is a post by a user showing the picture of the burnt charger.

I got the iwalk from hwm subscription. Use for not long, power button gives way. Nvm that, the adapter cant charge and I don't bother to spend on one. Nowadays QA start to go down. :(

It is about making money fast. No time for QC and testing. Just imagine these are medical products, they cause lives. Even motor vehicles can cause lives. If can, let the product be in the market for while to prove its reliability before buying. It is also cheaper by then.

The only medical product that can cause lives by failing is contraceptives leh. Do you mean, cause loss of lives?

But it not really cheap leh. Can get much cheaper one of same design but without brand name & logo.
Even the xiaomi power bank cost much cheaper.

It is no issue if the thing spoils and you throw it away. The dollar value of the thing is negligible. The real problem is the thing is in your house - it has a spontaneous combustion -- starts a fire in your house -- when you are away at work or out on leisure in weekend or travelling overseas. The value of loss due to a fire damage to the whole house property is very high, not to mention danger to human life.

Well, if you keep a battery connected to a charger while you are away then don't blame the battery or it's manufacturer. It's not meant to sit there the whole day connected to the charger.
