Possible due to EOS M hybrid CMOS AF is optimised for STM lenses?

Dragonfly taken with EF-M18-55mm at 55mm focal length with Raynox M-250:-

Thinking of getting the EOS-M, are there any lens available for EOS-M to take moving objects, example children?

All lenses can take moving objects or people. Just that eos m isn't a fast camera.
Had used in friend's baby party, most of time need use manual focus, or pre focus at a pt & snap when ready.

Seems EFS 55-250STM can take moving object easily as the AF speed pretty fast base on below test

Thank you for the information:)

I was quoted $504 for EOS-M with EF-M 11-22 kit with 8GB and carrying case.
Nikon lens can be mounted on Canon, still hesitating since all Canon lens cannot be mounted on Nikon (have a current Nikon DSLR).....

Ef-m 11-22 stm alone will cost u $500.
I guess you meant $504 for kit 2 (eos m + efm22+ adapter)?

What do you want with the EOS M? Especially because you got already a DSLR. If you think you need a mirror-less camera I would buy one with faster AF in your case.

Perhaps I should have stated clearly, I traveled quite often, my thought of having EOS-M used mostly for traveling purpose.

Corrected, EOS-M with Kit 2 is $504. Thank you.

Okay but why not buying a small mirror less camera with a faster AF if that's important to you? The EOS M is a nice camera, I just don't get why it has to be that one. If you don't own EF lenses I don't see the point in buying it. :)

That's was part of my reason on hesitating due to lens.

Any small mirror less camera with faster AF recommendation? Thanks
