Canon PRIVILEGE PURCHASE PROGRAM

I had an old canon that is non-longer working and thinking of leveraging on this programme.
I did call them and email them on this programme, but they always insisted that I bring my camera in for them to inspect.
However, it does take time to go down.
Anyone know whether 6D is included in this programme?
Thanks.

Nope, Single digits D's are not offered. The best they offer is the 70d only. and it's going for 1233:bigeyes:

I simply love the way you write it - so confident, so definitive, so sure that you're right....

Is this program still on? My wife called them and they said it's been discontinued since 3 months ago. I'm looking to upgrade to a 70D, is it still 1233 body only?

Not sure about the 70D. I asked about it at the service centre for eos M and its still applicable. thats about a month+ ago.

think its still available but they do not divulge much over the phone.

Thanks for the update! After asking prices from the regular shops, I find the PPP not really worth it for the 70D based on the above price of $1233

Happened to check the price at PariSilk (correct spelling?), body alone is going at $1319. Very tempted to ask for discount.... And make it... $1318! :) hahaha, seriously, the PPP costs anything to join?

the savings thru ppp and retail shops after discount is about $80+/- based on the parisilk price of 1319 vs Canon ppp 1233. its worth it if the 'trade in' camera is no longer usable. otherwise, if its still in working condition, keep it as a back up.

TK quoted me 1299 for body only 70D, so the savings is only about $66. If PPP requires ordering and additional waiting (not to mention i'm not sure if the "limited stock" is due to Canon giving us refurbished cameras and not brand new ones under PPP), I'm not sure if it's worth it.

With PPP u can pay by credit card.. . . . .and still get your freebies (if any).

I think you know what you prefer. Go ahead and get from TK.

For me, I don't mind the waiting time of a few days if I can have some savings (for a filter, hood, battery etc). Free gifts are standard as listed in the website.

Are you certain that cameras under the PPP are refurbished?

Anyone know if 60D body only is still available for PPP?

Just went over there last week.
EOS M and 60D no more stock.

Hi, I wonder whether Canon is still offering this programme internally during current trade-in promotion islandwide. How much is Powershot G16 after trading in a faulty SX30? Thanks.

eos m2 mayb taking over eos m. Thats y eos m no more. 60d mayb replaced by 70d
