Hi,

I wanted to buy a dry cabinet for my cameras.
Anyone using the Eureka dry cabinets? Can share your experience on their products?

Read from their website that even if power is cut off:
1)Outer valve of the Dry Module will shut immediately to prevent moisture from outside the cabinet getting in.
2) Multi-porous Molecular sieves will continue to trap moisture inside the cabinet
3)Dehumidification still continues even if unit has power turned off

Looks good as compared with digi-cabi.

Just another way of having dry air. Whether a possible power cut off (how likely is it anyway?) is really such a threat to your equipment is your call. I have some thirsty hippos stacked on the shelf.

I'm always out of the country. Worried that my dad will switch it off.

Tink nothing much will happen even if it's been turned off for Afew days, 1 thing for sure is dat at least it's still keeping out the dust even when power's off, mine always got turned off accidentally when my family vacuums.... Jus go check once in awhile

this should help.
Reminds me of a quote from a friend who once said: There is no technical solution for a social problem.
TS: talk to your father and explain the purpose and function. And the low risk of something going wrong.
