10 Photography Life Hacks to Save Time and Money (Video)

Hahahah Kai once again. He's funny.

It took him a while to find the battery indicator shape on the battery cover. Canon has it already on 350D from 2006. The egg timer setup is something worth trying.

One question:
If you travel overseas and use your iPhone to geotag your camera's photos, would that mean mean exposing you to very high data roaming costs?

this tips is for photographers don't wish to spend on a Geotag, however, when is it compare to data roaming costs when use this method in oversea...... the geotag unit seem so much cheaper. :)

A tip that most already probably know.

Forget data roaming. Buy a prepaid SIM at your destination. It's way cheaper than Singtel crap data roam service.

Italy cost 10 euros or S$17 for the card with 10 euros credit, you use 7 euros for a week of unlimited data and you get to make calls and SMS with the remaining money.

Rest of Europe is similar.

Taiwan is at 400 NT or S$16 for a week of unlimited roaming with some credits left for calls and SMS.

Singtel can go fly a kite with their rates.

Forgot what I paid earlier this year but its cheaper than singtel roaming rates. one thing though, their data connection is quite crappy.

You're also better off getting pre paid sims in china. Forgot what I paid but theirs got many plan options.

And no one out there got microsim cost more nonsense. China, Bangkok, KL they cut the sim for you Europe gives you the microsim.

The recording of GPS data does not need any data connection. Dedicated GPS receiver devices do not have any data links. Smartphones need the data connection to load the corresponding map. If you had a map application will everything stored on HDD you wouldn't need any data link but get the same results on screen.

Malaysia got Hotlink, uMobile, Digi and Celcom. Each one has their own prepaid data plan. I use Hotlink, RM 2 per day for 100MB. enough to use for FB or surfing. Celcom one I tried before is using on the laptop, RM 20 for one week unlimited.
