Hi people,
Seeking views of why two different cameras with similar setting has different picture coverage? I have a EPL5 with 14-42mm kit lens and LX5. I took picture at wide but the result is different, I thought oly 14mm = 28mm?
Here are the pictures I took for reference. Thanks.

I took another shot with LX5 at 50mm. It look similar to Oly 14mm wide?

Please check the effective focal length of the LX5.

I find it strange that the info on LX5 review will show f=28mm or f=50mm but EXIF is different? Why?

The camera will tell u effective focal length for field of view reference I.e. 28mm, 50mm etc. But exif always shows lens focal length, which should be 6mm to ##mm after dividing by crop factor.

And your first image of oly at 14mm, it really doesn't look 14mm (28mm effective). Double check again
