Singapore in Black and White

The one that stands out the most for me is infinity and storm approaching. Again, this is just my comment. If you are perfectly happy with your photos, then continue with it. Maybe you might want to try out some experimentation and see if you would like it. I personally prefer abit more contrast.

I really enjoy looking at this thread , your composition is Artistic and black and white tone is very nice to look at ,you have done very well in yours pic, please continue to share your work , would love to see more, thanks for sharing

Wow... really hard to find this kind of view...
Nice photo, love this...
May I know where is it?
Thanks.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I don't prefer to talk about locations, especially when they're either private property or residential. I'd recommend going out and exploring Singapore :)

Great shots.

And many people often complain that there's nothing to shoot in Singapore

Hope to see more of your work!

Cheers

Very Inspiring. I am very much a fan of architectural shots myself.

I've been trying to emulate such shots with the 'streaky' looking clouds in the background but to no avail, any tips or tutorials you could recommend that i could get into?

very nice. I find it impactful. It should be showcased for National Day.

Your composition is artistic and very much for me to learn from. B&W is indeed something not easy, especially to get good tones and contrast. imho, you did very well.

Really nice thread I very much enjoyed your artistic interpretations of the different scenes.

Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed the photographs!

Orion9, the cloud movements are achieved using very long exposures in the daytime. The exposures are possible thanks to high strength neutral density filters, usually 10 stops and higher. I don't really have any particular tutorials to recommend, but perhaps you could search for daytime long exposures. Hope that helps!

I am never been much of a fan of landscape unless they are in B&W.
I am therefore enjoying this series quite a bit!

Keep up the good work rh89.!!
