Your 5 most must haves in your cam bag apart from camera(s) n lenses

Hi everybody just wanna know if I'm missing something . On a shoot /travel my 5 most must haves wld be
1. Flash 2. My sturdy leica table tripod ( I never leave home without 1 and 2 now . Have done before n regretted it sorely )
3. Charger / fresh batteries for each item 4. Ipad mini with card reader which fits snugly into te pocket of my billington 4. Cleaning kit ( blower brush, lint , cotton buds etc )

1) Water bottle
2) Wallet with cash and credit cards
3) Batteries (lots of them)
4) SD cards (a couple of them)
5) umbrella and perhaps my lucky red cap.
 

1. ND Filters
2. Spare battery
3. Torchlight
4. Microfibre cloth for cleaning sea spray
5. Remote of some form
 

1. 1 Snickers Bar
2. 1 Mars Bar
3. 1 Twix Bar
4. 1 Crunchie Bar
5. And a partridge in a pear tree

Highlighted in RED is what I would not bring. Especially the ipad mini rubbish.
 

In order of importance for a typical sport shoot.

1) Business cards.
2) AA Powerbank and batteries.
3) Umbrella.
4) Gaffer Tape.
5) Small Medkit.
 

I typically pack light. The lighter the better. Unless I know I have a need for more equipment, I just hand hold my dSLR with my preferred lens mounted.

Actually those are in my side pouch as well as an extra UV filter and body/lens caps. Once kena, will always remember.

In my other pouch is this.

Got a few sets since that time the Adidas KOTR, they were selling for $10 a set. Good for pains, muscle cramps and surprisingly works for insect bites as well. Too bad event got cancelled but everyone still got paid. :)

1 Klean Kanteen wide 1.1L water bottle (i drink alot)
2 Small umbrella +spare plastic bag to keep it when wet
3 Cowon mp3 player + B&O earphones
4 If less lenses will bring PS Vita during resting point.


yup only 4 items...die die water bottle stays with me at all times.

Got it ! 2,3 n 4 and pass port is in zipped pockets on my photographers jacket not to mention other chap along stuff like dental floss !:)

Hmm .. I thk u r right ! Always scrounging around for water . Will bring a bottle next time ! Tks for the heads up :)

Oh the table tripod is a must for me . Sturdy ( I carry big heavy lenses ) , very easy to use - macro, tele whatever . With it I may not need a flash for many shots . And the iPad mini tho screen resolution is not great is light n portable , goes everywhere and with downloaded pix makes a long flight that much shorter. I will do e editing n other heavy stuff on the iMac back home . Also the mini is great for travel or even for daily life eg emails , surfing , candy crush , angry birds whatever etc . I have e regular ipad but find the mini much more usable owing to its portability n it fits well into e billington so that its not left out somewhere where it could get nicked . U shld try it. Anyway it's a personal choice :)

Spare batt n torch - that's 6 n 7 on my list . Necessary too I agree . Sea spray I go home n use damp towel :(
 

Depend on what type of shoot. For normal outing,..
1- Water Bottle (very impt to me)
2- Umbrella
3- extra batteries
4- extra t-shirt
5- small flash just in case

Actually there some other small stuffs almost always in all my bags (normal & camera bags), eg insert repellent patch, some medicine (panadol etc), some cash, extra tissue papers etc

2. Filter wallet with cpl and Nd filters
3. Table-top tripod or standing monopod or tripod or gorilla pod (depending on location)
4. Flash with diffuser
5. Memory card wallet with extra cards
 

one rule for me though..
dun bring extra stuff u dun need... cos the weight gonna weigh u down..and u won't last 3 hours...and will want to head home.

take wat u need.main thing is to take good photos.not going for a picnic..

Hey just been thinking of e b&o earphones . U happy with them ? Checked out any other brands ?
