Die die must drive...

hope police will take action against this driver.

also, hope more drivers will post video clips they have captured on dangerous driving so TP can take action against them. Help make the road safer.

While I don't like authority to have too much power....it seems that a stiffer sentence is needed to handle all these crazy road user that is popping up time and time again...

One of the comments:

"dun laugh at her la, some women just can't drive. last time in Australia, I also ganna some situation, instead of taking video, some Ang Mo actually came out to help me drive out of the obstacle. The cameraman really shameful, instead of helping her, you take video for fun."

The video camera man failed to zoom in on the car license plate.

From the curve of the inlet road, it is clear that she was driving against the traffic. Treating a one way inlet as a two way road.

It was extremely dangerous to other road users, for this car to emerge from an EXIT, into the fast flowing traffic of the highway.

The video has nothing to do with the sex of the drivers. It does not matter whether they were male or female.

The driver was obviously taking an illegal short cut. She should be given a short prison sentence, say 1 week.

for that comment, just wait till she have personal experience with accident with another driver driving this way. than c what she say!!

i think that... in a moment of confusion and panic, she actually turned right instead of left. who knows.

anyways... those laughing at the antics on facebook... watch out. even your "littlest" traffic offence that you thought wasn't seen, can be recorded by others on video cameras

it seems this happened at Changi Airport, I think is T3, how did she ended up there in the first place?

It's ECP all the way the end, then keep left :)

Little we know about the beginnings that lead to the situation. Might not have been a local driver. But from my own experience I can say: not all markings and signs on the road are always clear and precise. After using a road 10 times (and following the camels in front of me) it all seems so clear and obvious. But when one takes the road the first time, it looks different.
But this should be no excuse for going over the green or against the traffic in a one way road.

人说:路是人走出来。(Idiom says: Path/roads are created by people who made the way)

她说:这路是你他妈的。(She says: this road is belong to your mother)

I don't think she wants to be in that situation. From her cautious driving down the kerb, she is a careful driver. The question is more how she landed there.

I do agree our road signs are not the best. We also have too many. Sometimes I have difficulties looking at them. People putting up signs know the place well and assume the signs make sense but to those new NOT.

Timely LTA come up with some guidelines. A single sign pole can be shared with a few signs.

I find that the road signs are pretty adequate. But most of the time, most drivers ignore them. Ever see a double yellow line with cars lined up parked over it? Or a driver that ignores the 80km/h road sign and drives at 120km/h instead?

Lots of local drivers have become cocky and complacent because of familiarity. Why do u think that there are more road incidents recently?

Which is pretty pointless and counterproductive. Drivers can only recognize and respond to a limited amount of information. Putting three signs on a single pole makes it even more tricky, likely the driver 'sees' only one or two of them.

I think speed limits are the most widely broken rules of traffic, I would say all drivers are guilty of that (including me). And miraculously, a single car of TP brings back all those lost lost memories about speed limits :D

I agree. You only have time to register one at a time in your mind. That's why the signs are singularly placed at intervals

Tell me about it :bsmilie:
