A Pocketable Compact Camera with a Built in Mobile Phone ??

Hi Friends
Is there a small Pocketable Camera with built in mobile phone available in market ? if not, why camera companies like Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus etc do not make a pocketable compact with built in Mobile phone for photographers all over The World ??

Most of the smartphones are larger and do not fit in pocket .

Please give your opinion about this .

Aloks, there have been many of such devices out in the market for years.

TS... how small is your pocket. My Samsung Note... my friend's samsung note 2, S4, Nokia Lumia, etc... can all fit into my pocket... I even carried my Samsung Note AND a small Nokia phone in my work pants without a problem at all.

And Sony had been making smart phones for ages... with excellent camera, so I really don't get what you mean... And of course Olympus, Canon, Nikon, Pentax and many old camera company didn't make phones for huge number of reasons... one of them being, it don't align to their company's strategy.

Thank you friends for reply, I know about Smartphones, but first they are Phone then Camera, can we compare results of a smartphone with a good compact camera ? Secondly can we not expect a CAMERA with built in phone, which means better pictures and phone also available.

I have seen in many magazines and forums related to Photography, it is mentioned that Compact cameras give better result than smartphones, is it true ??

Some extreme 10x cropping also leaves you with 4.1MP haha. The Lumia 1020 looks very impressive.
