Is it worth goin? Heard the SanDisk prices are not competitively priced... even SLS is cheaper. Can anyone whos been there earlier kindly advise? Thanks!

Just bought Sandisk microSDHC 16 GB for $15, and DELL 23" LED monitor at $199. The DELL monitor view to the eye is much better than my existing Philips's 22" LED monitor and the color is more natural.

Still cheaper at best bargain and you don't need to fight all the Expo crowds.

PC Show / IT Show / etc very very rarely have good deals.

89.90 in Sim Lim. Up to you if it's worth the crowds at Expo.

Some decent deals there, but usually the same as what you'd get in Funan or Sim Lim. It's the same shops (Cybermind, etc).

I guess the only reason to go is xmm and if you love crowds!!!

Not worth going unless expo near ur home and maybe u really have something in mind need to get.
Can go website like hardwarezone etc look at those brochures that were uploaded there.

Take public transport there unless u plan to reach expo early in the morning.

Exhibitions and shows such as PC Show, Travel Fair, etc... are well attended.
Not everyone thinks alike.
So to each his or her own.

Sim Lim Square does have equal or better deals than PC Show, provided you know how to find them.
There is regular news that some newbie got cheated again at SLS buying stuff at grossly inflated prices from dishonest salesmen.

The PC Show exhibitors or stall holders pay steep rentals to the show organiser and have to either break even or make a profit.
PC Show in SG nowadays do not function as a peep into the future where top manufacturers showcase their latest gadgets or indicate their future tech R&D. Maybe in America they still do. Nowadays, PC Show is a big pasar malam from noon to late evening.

But Singaporeans got few places to go on weekends where attendance is free. It is the school holidays. So the PC Show becomes a family outing for many.
