#1 could be LCK jetty but frankly you can't even see much and it's such an old picture, how the jetty looks today is different. Anyways do take note that there is Coast Guard facility nearby IIRC and I hear that they can be quite prickly about shooting that facility but if you just concentrate on the jetty it should be alright.
For #2, that's most probably Lower Peirce Reservoir. There are loads of such installations here and there, including at MacRitchie Reservoir but the positioning of the treeline makes me think that this is LP.

wow. Surprise so many identify LCK jetty. Thought not a lot of people goes there.
Long time never go already... Painfully hard to get to without private transport and even if you cab there I think it's not a short walk out. :bsmilie:
#1 End of Road at Lim Chu Kang Rd (all the way north)
LCK jetty is now almost all fenced up due to tighter border controls. It is annoying "deep" in ulu territory (even considering i live "nearby")
its 975 now, after "rebranding" exercise of the bus number. if not sure, it should be the same bus which goes past Sungei Gedong Armor camp.
@Solitude - i only got back to this thread this evening. sigh. earlier already drove past Neo Tiew to go site visit...
