I heard they have a no-horse-run (unbeatable) offer at Ikea, 10c meatballs.

At first i thought it was fake since i saw on Sg Gag (sp??)

But it is real.

And all the pics of meatballs are making me crave them. *slobber*.

Did anyone get any 10c meatball ?

No... I'm nowhere near an IKEA, and you can bet the queues will be insane. I'd just order 40 or 50 meatballs and stuff myself till I start speaking Swedish.

Don't worry, IKEA's trolleys & shopping bags are pretty big. No need to speak swedish.
Just tell them in plain singlish to fill up the bags........................& if your order is more than $200, maybe got free delivery.............:bsmilie:

Horse meat or camel meat?

Not just in Japan, France too and in Germany horse sausages aren't really anything special. It's just meat like any other one. The Ikea meatballs are so cheap I don't really want to know what's inside. If it's just Chinese cardboard we can be already lucky I guess, it's probably worse.

reminds me of "Dragon Gate Inn" (infamous Inn of Chinese stories. . . their "pau"...is not filled with char siew but of the previous guests!)

Not much different from Ikea then. I guess all the old furniture goes directly into the meatballs. Have you ever tried them? They don't even taste like meat.

Probably because all of them were kept in storage and are expiring in maybe a week... so they need to move them fast

The Manager of Ikea must be a genius. He not only clear the stock before expire and get free publicity :bsmilie:

As we don't know what's inside you can also consider them as fish balls. We should just call them balls.

I am not MadMartian, who eat all kind of balls :bsmilie:

From MadMartian avatar, he even ate tennis balls :bsmilie:

Meat ball contains a mixture of different animal meats.

Have asked Ikea staff before and they confirmed contain some beef.

Ikea should announce what exactly animal meats their meat balls contain, instead of just saying these meat balls do not contain horse meat (unlike those in Europe).
