Hi all,

Is there any problem with using micro sd card instead of sd card in dslr? I want to use miro sd card in my dslr. I have one ultra class 10 32 GB microsd card.

Next week, I will be going bintan. This is my first trip except singapore. Any guide or checklist for me. Thank All.

Well you will need to make sure you have an adaptor to regular sd card size. Then, the main issue will be speed. Microsd is slower.

As for Bintan, its like an extension of SG already. What would you pack to go to the beach? Swimwear, sunblock, etc right? Just bring that. Bintan is not Somalia.

Thank You bro. Slower speed should be ok for me. sometime I am just shooting landscapes. :)

For bintan, thank you also :) I mean money changer and things to take note or care :) Cheer Bro :D

No need, can pay in sgd everywhere. Inr price is a bit cheaper so up to you if you want to exchange some $ into inr here in SG first.

Do all necessary to prevent any mosquito bite while you are there. There are recent cases whereby Singaporean came back from Bintan with dengue fever and malaria. Get travel insurance.

If you are staying only at the Bintan resort, bring lots of SGD....

Always keep your passport with you.

Do not trust the hotel "locked safe boxes" at the lobby check in counter area with your passport or any valuables.

Thank You bro. I will bring some med: and cream for mosquito. I will keep passport with me bro. But I can't bring when I go beach. :)

For travel insurance, could you give any advice on that? How much is it ?

I am staying four days . Thank You a lot for your advice bro :D

Few days in Asean region travel insurance cost should be about $30 to $40. Why go when travel advisory says malaria and dengue?
Out of 10,000 tourists there only 1 may get it. However, you may be that 1 person.
