hi,
anyone knows of any good spots to shoot mount fuji in winter around the kawaguchiko area?

Especially taking into account the sunlight, crowds, etc. any especially scenic spots u know about and how to get there??

thanks.

Best time I feel is in the morning, before the clouds starts to cover the peak. You can travel around the lake. The ropeway is also a nice place to view Mt Fuji
Accessible either by Train or coach (near Yodobashi shinjuku)

or you can get off at Shimo-Yoshida Station on your way to kawaguchiko
where you can get a shot of chureito pagoda with mt fuji

thanks for all the info. I read it while I was on the trip but no time to reply. In the end, I shot the most around my hotel (sunnide resort) area as the weather is really cold and it is impractical (no bus) to move around during the golden hours.

Anyway my pics for kawaguchiko is posted here
