Cufflinks Shoot - Please read the requirements

Hello folks,

I have 70 pairs of cufflinks that need to be photographed for my ecommerce website.

- 2 shots per cufflinks pair, total of 140 shots.
- black background, reflective.
- Those who's charges are more than S$2.00 per shot, please do not apply.
- the end result have to be this and cropped to 800 by 700 pixels:

no offend, I will put my efforts on shooting some apples, oranges and pears, upload to stock agency.


this photo will make more money than shooting 140 shots of very challenging subjects.

and this photo already made more than 140 shots and it only take half of the efforts of one shot.

It is not a simple task to get your sample quality. Beginner will not be able to get this effect. If you die die must get the sample quality, I suggest u increase your budget ..
It seems simple but when u shoot it then all the difficulty will come out..

why not rent a camera and shoot yourself then you know how it is... and i think it will be cheaper still for you if you shoot it yourself

To be honest, u don't even need to rent camera. Just use iPhone under sufficient lighting then do the effect in photoshop. It is the only way you can get some where around this price..

let me teach u about the triangle - price, quality & speed.

if u wan good quality and fast, it wont be cheap.
if u wan fast and cheap, it wont be good quality.
if u wan good quality and cheap at $2 per shot, IT WON'T BE FAST.

i can shoot for you, but 1 image takes 2 days, so in total wait 1 year.

cant help it, but the words "dam cheap skate" kept appearing in my mind...

Simple.. Just charge the photographer who want to bid for the assignment. No matter u get or not , it has to pay. Then use those money collected to advertise widely in Singapore. Win win for all... It will solve part if the problem ..

Good luck fella. ! Alot of photographers here are amatuers but even amatuers demand higher than that.
Beginners also command more than that.

Cropping takes time. setting up a shot takes time.
That quote doesnt even cover camera and lighting usage
