bought one a few days ago.

discover that whenever i turn on the VR, there will be an audible click whenever the shutterbutton is half pressed and another same audible click when it is released. I guess this is the activitation and deactivitation of the VR. But is the audible click normal? First time using a VR lens:sweat:

another issue is that when doing focusing with the lens pointed down handheld, the focus will drift off [meaning focused then become unfocused] when the shutter is held half pressed. It does not drift when the shutter is half pressed then released. Also, when mounted on tripod, it seems ok.

advice appreciated. thkq

i dun think so there's a sound when VR is activated....

ur 2nd issue with the shutter half-press, it's focus hunting...probably dim lights
r u using AF-S or AF-C?

using AF-S, seems to be better when i tried it outdoor today. Noticed that it is worse when it is close to the min focus distance.

the clicking sound is VR. But barely audible outdoor. Indoor, can be heard

quite amazed by the sharpness of this lens.
