I read the article. Really gross and unhygienic.

Gambling in the "Integrated Resorts" is ruining lives of people big time. Even got gambler gamble until shack and ram his car into old uncle old auntie, killing old uncle.

It was an evil which needn't have arrived in the first place. Was it the National "Development" ministry's "brilliant idea"?

it is the $100 entry levy. valid for 24 hrs. so, a gambler will maximise his chances within 24 hrs. 15 hrs in the casino will tire anyone out.

So is computer game and Korean dramas series....ban them all...

Ban 4d oso.
And alcohol.
And smoking.
And fattening food.
And...

Gambling is indeed ruining the lives of many. The argument remains that even if the casino does not exist in Singapore, people still visit Genting, gambling cruise and underground.

there are uncles and aunties who goes to Genting or board those gambling ships few times a month which is really bad.
If government bans smoking, gambling, drinking and fatty food which are obviously good for us but we will complain lack of freedom and we won't be happy.[
Well.. we are singaporeans.. either way we will complain de :)

Gambling on high risk shares in stock market is also not good :(

The woman ruined the chair and the carpet with her menstrual blood. Other gamblers would consider it bad luck.
Or perhaps she believed superstitious advice that if she does this, she can win at the casino.
She could have done it on purpose so that the casino will pay her off not to repeat in future.

Otherwise there is no reasonable explanation why a person would want to intentionally do this and attract bad publicity to herself.

The casino can blacklist her and refuse entry after this incident.

Blame the people and nothing else.

nobody forces them/you to the Casino.

you shouldn't put it that way. it is a mental disorder. impulsive behaviour. you won't understand until you are one of them

it is a sad world that ppl exploit this disorder for $$$$

[h=2]Understanding gambling addiction and problem gambling[/h] Gambling addiction, also known as compulsive gambling, is a type of impulse-control disorder. Compulsive gamblers can’t control the impulse to gamble, even when they know their gambling is hurting themselves or their loved ones. Gambling is all they can think about and all they want to do, no matter the consequences. Compulsive gamblers keep gambling whether they’re up or down, broke or flush, happy or depressed. Even when they know the odds are against them, even when they can’t afford to lose, people with a gambling addiction can’t “stay off the bet.”
Gamblers can have a problem, however, without being totally out of control. Problem gambling is any gambling behavior that disrupts your life. If you’re preoccupied with gambling, spending more and more time and money on it, chasing losses, or gambling despite serious consequences, you have a gambling problem.
